The team used GPS software on a BOOST MOBILE telephone placed inside the capsule to record the location of the capsule throughout the duration of the flight. The capsule could be picked up on GPS radar within 2-3 miles of the ground. This information was transferred from the cellphone to our instamapper.com account.
The team also utilized balloon trajectory software to predetermine the location of the landing zone. After the launch the chase teams traveled to the general area to wait for the capsule to appear on radar.
